Revival of Love: Psonnets and Other Poems of Life, Love, and the Lord

Psonnets of Worship
If You Had Danced for Christ

If you had danced, Salome, for the King
and worshipped spiritually and true,
His pleasure was to give the kingdom to
such praise and worshippers, and also bring
the food, the drink, the clothing, anything
of all your needs of which our Father knew,
and dance with you like David danced, and woo
you under His anointed covering.
I seek Your kingdom and Your righteousness
and learn this from Salome and her art,
that half of all Your kingdom is far less
than what You want to give me. Lord, impart
to me a blessing more than kings could bless.
Give me more than Your head. Give me Your heart.
