To seek my glory is not glory, so
I neither seek for you, my crown and bride,
your name, your face, nor where you may reside.
But unto God in prayer, Whose Name I know,
Whose face I seek, unto His throne I go,
for His pavilion is where He shall hide
your soul until my vessel has been tried
and brought forth from the finer's portico.
What treasure, new and old, has been concealed?
It is God's glory to conceal a thing.
You are a treasure hidden in a field
bought with a price, a holy offering.
Yet in Christ's hand, a crown shall be revealed.
The King of Kings shall crown your husband king.
