Song of my Savior, melody of might,
a canticle of prayer and praise I bring,
this psalm upon the psaltery, my King,
sweetsmelling sacrifice within Thy sight,
each savor of my Savior to delight
the priesthood of believers, opening
the gates wherein awaits the promising
of life for all who set their steps aright.
Thy right hand holds my hand eternally,
and in Thy left hand, riches ever more
than all my ear could hear, my eye could see,
or what abundance of my heart asks for,
declaring in Thy Church the praise of Thee,
though I be but a keeper of the Door.
